Students from years 8, 9 and 10 took part in an exciting two day workshop with Pirate FM and Headstart Kernow this term.  Our students were guided through the process of creating a film about student mental health and took control of the whole process from start to finish; creating ideas, story-boarding, planning, scripting, filming and starring! 

Based on the concept of ‘Don’t play games with your Mental Health’, they set out to raise awareness of mental health...and send the message that looking after our mental health is for everyone.

Emphasising that mental health issues, both big and small can affect all students of all ages and abilities, they used the concept of a computer game to frame their final film.

Their amazing work will be shared in schools county wide to promote young peoples' mental health.

Well done to all involved.  You should be very proud of your final production!
