Last Thursday, 10th March, 40 Year 11 and Year 10 Film Studies students went to a private screening of Invasion of the Body Snatchers (one of their GCSE set texts), on the big screen at Penwith College. The students absolutely loved it; they were wowed by the theatre, the cinema lights, and they adored the complimentary hot chocolate and cakes! Lecturers from A Level Film Studies and A Level Media came to speak to them too, which gave them fantastic insight into studying at Penwith College. It really was a treat - and the film was a big hit too!
