Humphry Davy School joins the world in mourning the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. 

The late Queen was a role model and inspiration, promoting a sense of pride and belonging; serving and strengthening communities across the union and commonwealth; encouraging us all to aspire to the same and to be the best that we can be.

Hers was a life of extraordinary dedication and service, and it was an honour and a privilege back in June to host and light a Platinum Jubilee Beacon here at HDS, as a mark of our respect.

On behalf of all those associated with the community that is Humphry Davy School, I convey my deepest condolences to the King and the Royal Family during this sad time.
