On 4th November, HDS Interact club raised £450 for Street Food Project Penzance with a Halloween film screening of The Addams Family, a cake and sweet sale and proceeds of non-uniform day. On 17th November Matt Perry, Project Manager, came in to visit the students and to explain more about the work of the organization.

 

Street Food Project is a meal service that operates seven nights a week 365 days a year plus a food bank offering weekly shopping to families. This volunteer-led service was created to support homeless and those experiencing financial hardship.

 

HDS Interact will continue to support Street Food Project with Christmas fundraising events taking place in December.
