On Monday 3rd Feb, our Year 7 boys WON the Penwith indoor cricket tournament! The boys performed unbelievably well, they worked together as a team and all played a part in the success.

Our captain, Archie, bowled and batted superbly, retiring on 20 a couple of times. Thomas took some crucial wickets and scored some crucial runs. Will showed great understanding of the indoor game as well retiring at 20 runs. Ace was an ‘ace’ wicket keeper throughout and, not to be forgotten, Jamie and Corey who fielded brilliantly taking some fantastic catches. What a team!

The final game could not have been closer with it going down to the last ball, forcing a super over, where yet again the winning runs were scored on the last ball! The boys will now represent HDS at Truro College going up against fellow schools from around the county. Well done boys and good luck!
