Our annual Year 7 opening night took place this term and what a great evening it was!

The stage was filled with students who were excited to show their families and friends what they have been working on this term.

The evening consisted of a set list made up of well-known songs from across the years – you couldn’t help but sing along. It was brilliant to see how much our Year 7 students have grown in confidence during this first term. Under the tuition of Mr Street and Miss Kleiman the students were able to perform to a packed hall in what was, for most of them, their first ever public concert! It certainly isn’t easy standing up in front of a crowd and they should be extremely proud of themselves. We know we are!

The tradition of holding the Year 7 concerts so early in the year has always set a solid foundation for the new additions to the school as musicians and performers, and we hope this is the start of a rich future in music for many of them. Well done to everyone who took part.
