Cuxhaven Students Visit HDS
Posted on: 16/10/2024The Penzance Twinning Association’s aim is to promote international friendship and understanding through links with our twinned towns in Australia, Brittany, Germany and the USA.
Their work is dedicated to helping our schools, sporting organisations, clubs, and other groups to forge links with those in our twin towns.
As part of the twinning association cycle of events, Cuxhaven School students and their teachers flew over from Germany to Penzance. The students from Cuxhaven school have enjoyed a wide package of adventures across the county and came to Humphry Davy School on Thursday 17th October to have a tour of the school, meet some of our young people, enjoy a saffron bun breaktime and take part in a music scholars workshop – where they learnt ‘Cornwall my Home!’
In previous years we have taken music tours to Cuxhaven and we really value this special friendship across the schools.
