The year 10 photography cohort had a wonderful trip to Falmouth University this month, to experience a taste of what it is like to be a photography student at degree level. They got involved in a number of practical photographic workshops as well as having a tour of the university campus (with a free lunch thrown in!)

During the three workshops, students got their photographic creativity flowing in professional photographic studios, participating in a light drawing session, a fashion photoshoot and producing a stop motion animation. These photographic workshops not only provided a fantastic experience for everyone, but has enabled them to expand their GCSE portfolio. You can get a flavour of what they produced below.

On their campus tour, the students were taken around the campus by Falmouth degree students to explore the amazing facilities and had the opportunity to fire all sorts of questions to the Falmouth student ambassadors about university life. All the staff and students at Falmouth were amazing and provided our students with a fantastic day out. We would like to thank them all for their support and look forward to seeing them again next year.
