Surfing in Morocco
Posted on: 01/11/2024After a very long journey, our surfers have arrived in Morocco for 6 jam-packed days of surfing and sightseeing.
Staying in privately owned villas (less than 500 metres away from some of the world's most consistent, clean and empty waves), our annual surf trip is an amazing opportunity for our students to experience the unique cultural diversity and sense of community in the traditional Berber fishing village of Mirleft.
On Wednesday evening, after checking in to their villas, they had just enough time to catch the waves for a sunset surf!
Yesterday, after an 8.15am wake up call, our students enjoyed breakfast at the villa before travelling to Plage Sauvage beach for their morning surf session. After lunch, they spent the afternoon in the sea...working up an appetite for their evening meal. With a dip in the swimming pool before bed, everyone certainly slept well after a busy day at the beach!
On Sunday, our Morocco surf students took a break from surfing and visited the ancient town of Tiznit. The markets were a sight to behold and the students enjoyed practicing their bartering skills. The afternoon was spent back at the beach before they headed back for dinner.
